Digital Print Card Posters (A4/A3)

Card Posters

Crafted from premium-quality cardstock, card posters offer durability and a professional finish that elevates your visual displays. Thicker and sturdier than standard paper, they resist creases and tears, ensuring long-lasting use. Perfect for vibrant, high-impact designs, these posters are ideal for events, promotions, or decorative purposes. Available sizes A4 and A3, card posters can be finished with matte or gloss lamination to enhance colours and add a polished touch.

A4 Card Posters:

210 x 297 mm (8.3 x 11.7 inches) – about the size of standard printer paper. Great for small-scale advertising, personal projects, or compact spaces. Popular for announcements, or minimalist designs. These posters are perfect for closer viewing and work well with detailed information or intricate designs.

A3 Card Posters:

297 x 420 mm (11.7 x 16.5 inches) – twice the size of A4. Ideal for more impactful visuals, events, and larger areas. They’re often used in shop fronts, community boards, or promotional displays. A3 posters catch more attention due to their size, making them a good choice for bold designs and larger text.

Both sizes can look stunning with our high-quality Card, professional printing, and your sharp design.

Their rigid construction resists creasing and tearing, ensuring they maintain their polished appearance over time. Perfect for promotional materials, event announcements, or artistic displays, they are versatile and designed to stand out.

Choose from finishes like glossy, for a sleek, vibrant look, or matte, for a sophisticated, non-reflective touch. Ideal for wall displays, mounted use,  A3 and A4 card posters are the perfect way to make a bold and lasting impression

The difference between lamination and encapsulation lies in how the protective layers are applied to the material and the level of coverage they offer. Here’s a breakdown:

Lamination:

  • Process: A thin plastic film is adhered to the surface of the material (paper, card, etc.) using heat or pressure.
  • Coverage: The edges of the material are usually exposed; the laminate covers only the printed front and back surfaces without sealing the edges.
  • Uses: Ideal for enhancing the durability and appearance of printed items like menus, posters, or certificates while maintaining a lightweight finish.
  • Benefits: Protects against water, dirt, and wear while offering options like matte or glossy finishes. However, it’s not fully waterproof due to unsealed edges.

Encapsulation:

  • Process: The material is completely encased in a thicker plastic film, with the plastic extending beyond the edges and sealed together.
  • Coverage: Fully seals the material, covering the entire surface and edges for complete protection.
  • Uses: Often used for items that need long-term preservation or complete waterproofing, such as ID cards, outdoor signage, or frequently handled documents.
  • Benefits: Provides superior protection against water, dirt, and damage, making it highly durable and weather-resistant.

In short, lamination focuses on protecting the surfaces, while encapsulation offers full-edge sealing for maximum durability. Let me know if you’d like advice on choosing the best method for your needs!

Lamination will only be applied to printed sides.

How to Set Up Bleed in Your File:

  1. Use Design Software: Programs like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva allow you to add bleed areas.
  2. Extend Design Elements: Stretch your background, colors, or images beyond the trim line into the bleed area.
  3. Export Correctly: Save your file with bleed settings enabled, usually as a high-resolution PDF, and mark crop lines

Standard Bleed Size: Typically, p bleed area of 3–5 mm around the edges.
