Thermal binding, Fastback binding and heat binding are all the same (just many different names)
Fastback binding is a Thermal binding system that uses a machine to heat and apply ready-glued strips to the spine of a book or document, creating a strong and permanent binding.
Fastback binding strips are available in 3 widths for different thickness documents. The strips we stock are genuine branded products from the original manufacturers.
The strips wrap around the spine giving a finished look like spine tape, but with a much stronger bond.
Thermal strips are black as standard, but we do have some other colours, please add a note to your order in the additional notes section and we will call you to discuss
Thermal binds come with a 250gsm black leather grain effect backing card and an Acetates (thermal binding) Heat resistant polyester 175micron. Please note covers are NOT printed
